Favorite Place in Ixonia: Ebert's Greenhouse Village
Why is this your favorite place?
"I like to visit my Dad.... I like the Fall Festival, and I made crafts there. At the end of the storytelling, we go through this big long tunnel... the lights are not there, and it's kind of dark... and it's really fun."
That does sound fun! What else do you like about the fall festival?
"The flowers are pretty... and I like pumpkin pie, sometimes I take the whipped cream but not the pumpkin pic. I take a big chunk of whipped cream and eat it up."
"In the summertime or in the fall time we get to.... we get to go out to Ebert's and gather all of the tomato plants. I like when we grow really big ones... I keep asking Daddy, 'next time we go to Ebert's can we please plant a tomato plant?"

Favorite Place in Ixonia: My Grandma and Grandpa's Farm
"At my Grandma's and Grandpa's farm I play with my cousins and we have family reunions. We go hunting on the land and I go with my dad. My cousins have a treehouse and a zipline connected to it. There is a rope swing, it swings soooo high. When my dad was a kid there were animals at the farm but there are no animals now. In the winter we make big piles of snow and we build big tunnels through them. In the spring we build big leaf piles. We have bonfires and make s'mores. We get Ranger rides. We ride our bikes there. It is where we have our memories!"
